So I'm only a few weeks away from graduating and (hopefully) starting a full-time job. With that change in life also comes a change in wardrobe. Though I haven't been sloppy these last few years, my closet could definitely use a few piece with polish to make my wardrobe more work appropriate. Here are a few pieces I'd love to add to prepare me for a new job.
ZARA Linen Trousers With Bow
These ZARA trousers would be great for summer work days, especially casual Friday. The paper-bag waist and linen fabric are perfect for the upcoming season.
Elizabeth and James Carson Blazer and Harmon Wide Leg Trousers
I know you're all probably surprised that I put a pink suit on this list, but how chic is this Elizabeth and James option? The blazer and trousers can be bought separately if you only want part of the look, but imagine walking into the office in a full pink suit. Instant head turner.
ZARA Long Blazer With Belt
I already have the matching trousers for this blazer, but I still need to add this to top them off. Like the suiting option above, you can buy the pieces separately and style them separately, but I'd love to wear the full-on orange look to the office with some fun shoes and jewelry.
ZARA Striped Belted Dress
Dresses are always a workwear staple but finding one that's both fun and office-appropriate can be difficult. I love this option from ZARA because it's your typical shirtdress with a little twist that makes it stand out from the crowd.
Madewell Zip Top Transport Leather Tote
A great tote is an essential, especially if you're commuting by train like I probably will be. This bag would fit my laptop, chargers, a book, snacks and anything else I might need and still look super chic. I also love that this bag comes with a zip top so I can keep my valuables out of sight while on the train.
What are some workwear staples you love and have in your wardrobe? Let me know in the comments so I can continue to gain workwear inspo!
