ColourPop has been one of my go-to makeup brands ever since KathleenLights released her Lumiere Lippie Stix... so a while. And if you haven't noticed, I've been into bright eye looks lately as well. I had picked up the entire Shayla x ColourPop collection awhile back and finally felt inspired (and had the time) to sit down and do a full look with her collection.
I started by blending "Culture" all over the crease and then placing "Maintenance" in the outer V. I used my finger to press "Warning" all over the lid, then I went back in with "Culture" to blend it out and "Maintenance" to deepen the outer crease. I reapplied "Warning" to the center lid and highlighted my inner corner with "Caution."
I used a light dusting of blush on the cheek and then finished off the look with "BFF 4" and "Slow Down" on the lips to keep the focus on the eyes.

I love ColourPop. I think they have great products for an affordable price. I do like this collection, but I will say that it's definitely geared toward those with a deeper skin tone. That's great because most products aren't, but it makes a few of these options less wearable for me. For example, I can't use "Construct" blush because it's just too deep for me. I tried to use it as a bronzer when I first got the collection, but it didn't work on my skin. I also don't reach for the lip liners a lot. I love the lipsticks but the brown lip liners are not my first choice. The eyeshadow palette is really universal so I can use that in any way I want. But overall the collection is definitely geared to deeper skin so if you've been looking for a collection that's perfect to add to your every day rotation, this one is for you.
