Saturday in the city became a whirlwind of fashion shows as NYFW continued into day 3. Here are my favorite looks and shows from the day.
Dion Lee was the big start to day three and they really wowed me with their spring collection. It's obvious that I'm going to need to work on my obliques post-pregnancy because waistline cutouts are coming back — and they're coming back in neon orange.
The street style for this show was almost as good as the actual runway. Jonathan Simkhai always creates beautiful pieces that I would die to wear. He's also keeping gingham around for spring 2019, so hold onto your pieces from the last two seasons to rewear next year.
The edgy girl's dream. R13 really went bold for spring with rips and fringe and leather. This effortless cool-girl style will be one that many will try to achieve once mid-spring hits next year.
Self-Portrait has been a recent favorite of mine. Their dresses are perfect for a wide range of occasions... well, not a baby shower if you're the one trying to wear their dresses, but that's beside the point. Picking up one of these looks next spring will make you the best dressed guest at any event you attend.
We've almost made it through the weekend of NYFW. What were your day 3 favorites? Share them in the comments and also check out my street style favorites from yesterday!
