Welcome back to day 2 of the madness. Friday was another full day for those in Manhattan attending NYFW. For me, it was a day spent sitting in front of three computer screens and endlessly refreshing Instagram to go through every show and street style look. Hard work, I know, but someone has to do it.
I feel like I discover new brands every year when I'm going through the shows, and Alena Akhmadullina was my first new discovery of the spring shows. I love the suiting, pastel colors and fun patterns that the line presents. That studded blue suit is workwear goals for me, and I'm also dying over the lavender PJ-inspired look as well.
Cushnie et Ochs is now just Cushnie and Carly Cushnie proved she can do it on her own in her first solo NYFW show. I always look forward to this runway and spring 2019 didn't disappoint. I'm loving the bright color palette and, of course, I'm dying over the suiting options she presented.
I was on a red and white kick last summer and fall around this time and Hellessy reminded me why. It's such a crisp combination and really drew me to this collection. The loose silhouettes and interesting suiting were also favorites in their spring line. I might just have to get that blue silk set. Don't know where I'll wear it right now, but I just feel like I have to have it.

So I'm obviously into flowy dresses. They're just such an easy piece to throw on in the spring and summer and Milly has plenty to choose from in their spring lineup. You could have the whole rainbow covered with their selection of dresses. I'm also loving the roped ankle sandals that they paired with the looks. It's a sandal that gives me a little bit of a nautical vibe but feels more easy summer shoe than anything. Where can I buy a pair?
Solace London is a line that has played into my new interest in color. The pairing of the neon green sweater and purple leather skirt is a look I can get behind. I'm also loving the loose silhouettes they presented as well. Bodycon is officially out for me and these looks are the reason why. They're perfectly fitted but not tight.
Remember to share your favorites shows and looks and be sure to check out my day 2 street style favorites as well!
