Three months down, nine to go in 2017, and as always, I'm celebrating the passing of another month by sharing my favorites from the last four weeks. So sit back, relax, and enjoy my monthly favorites.
Matcha Tea Lattes
I don't have any new fashion and beauty favorites this month, so this post is a collection of miscellaneous favorites including matcha tea lattes which are my recent drink obsession. While some people may think this is a weird drink, I personally love matcha and all the benefits that come from drinking it. It's also very Instagrammable which is always another plus.
Majestic Semi-Dry White Table Wine
In true 21-year-old fashion, I've done a lot of alcohol testing at various microbreweries, a distillery, and a local vineyard. This wine from Lavender Crest Winery, a winery close to my hometown, is one of my new favorites. I'm typically a fan of red wines, but this semi-dry white is delicious and light. If you're ever around the Quad City area, be sure to stop at Lavender Crest and give this wine a try.
My birthday gift to myself was a brand new computer. It's my first Mac, so I'm really excited about it and love all of the features such as the touch bar and Touch ID unlocking. It also runs Adobe programs way better than my PC. Sorry, Dell, but you've been replaced with something better.
Divide by Ed Sheeran
I shared Ed Sheeran's single "Shape of You" in my February favorites post, and since then he's released his entire sophomore album, "Divide." I was already a huge fan of Ed Sheeran, and this album only added to my love for his music. I'm excited to see him on tour in September and I'm hoping he performs this song since it's one of my favorites off the album.
During spring break I had a chance to finish up "Criminal Minds" (*cries*) and catch up on season five of "Scandal." I had forgotten all that had happened in the past seasons since it had been awhile, but I was easily able to catch up as I got farther into the season. This is one of my favorite shows of all time, so I was happy that I was able to catch up during break.
My final favorite for March is "The Vampire Diaries." I started watching this show when it first premiered and I always hated waiting a week to see the next episode. I also read the books that this show is based off of, so I wanted to see what I was reading be realized on the small screen. Since they've just had the series finale, I decided to start watching the show again from the beginning. So far I'm a season and a half deep and have no intention of stopping until I reach the end six and a half seasons from now.
As always, let me know your favorites for March in the comments below!
