February has passed and we now enter the best month of the year, March. In one short week I will be turning 21. But before we get into a retrospective of my last 20 years, let's just talk about the last month and what things I loved.
Youth to the People Kale + Spinach + Hyluaronic Acid Age Prevention Cream
I talked about loving this in yesterday's post, but I just wanted to reiterate how much I really love this moisturizer ($48). I really love this moisturizer. A lot.
CLINQUE Almost Lipstick in Black Honey
Another product I talked about yesterday with the same photo I posted yesterday. This has become my everyday lipstick (when I wear makeup which has been rare this term). Black Honey ($17) is my new go-to color.
Girlfriend Collective Leggings
I'm going to be slightly gross right now, but I've barely taken these leggings ($70) off all month. I'm being serious. I can wear them a couple of days in a row and they still retain their shape. I can also work out and them and they're still a tight as if I just washed them (which I do after I workout in them. I'm not that gross). I was lucky enough to snag a pair during their promotion: you only had to pay shipping to get these. Granted it was $20 shipping, but that's better than paying the $70 it will cost you when this brand releases in the spring with their full line. I love these so much, though, that I would gladly spend $70 on another pair. Until they launch this spring, you can check out Girlfriend Collective on Instagram and Facebook.
"Juke Jam" by Chance the Rapper feat. Justin Bieber and TOWKIO
Admittedly, I hadn't listened to any Chance before I heard this song Apple Music's "Mood." playlist. I know he's been huge right now (I mean, he won three GRAMMYs a few weeks ago) so I'm glad I heard this song and have started to listen to more of his music. I also typically dislike Justin Bieber's music, but I love his vocals on the chorus.
"Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran
Finally Ed Sheeran has released new music. I've been loving this song this month, though, "Castle on a Hill" is also good. I'm a little confused by the music video: did anyone else get the whole boxing thing? The ending especially was weird, but hey, I'm not an artist so I can't say that his artistic choice in this video was poor. Just strange.
"American Teen" by Khalid
I was introduced to this artist by a friend in mid-late February and I've been listening to him on repeat. It's hard to pick my favorite song by Khalid, but "Saved," "Location," and "Coaster" are all great. I highly recommend checking him out, especially this Friday when his entire album drops everywhere.
"Mood." Playlist by Apple Music
This playlist has been my go-to for everything from workouts to hanging out. I don't really have much to say on the whole playlist other than I recommend you check it out if you have Apple Music. I've discovered a lot of great songs on here that have been combined with old favorites from artists like Travis Scott and the Weeknd.
Adam is tired of watching this show, but I'm in too deep. I'm close to finishing season nine and then I only have two seasons left to watch... on Netflix at least. They're currently in their 12th season on TV and I can't wait to watch that, but I have other TV shows I need to finish before I'm sucked back into the BAU.
What were your favorites this month? I would love to know so let me know down in the comments below! (I did not rhyme intentionally.)
