In case you can't tell, I'm feeling culotte for the summer. Culottes have come back in style recently and, admittedly, I hated the trend at first, but after seeing this pair, I had to get them. One of the tricks to pulling off these pants is knowing how to style them. So, here I am, showing you one way I style culottes.
Culottes are knee length trousers that have a wide leg. They resemble a skirt, but they're pants, and very comfortable ones at that. My culottes are from Topshop and can still be purchased for $37.90 until Monday. After that, they go up to $58.00, so buy now or forever hold your peace. There's also a matching blouse that I tried on (not with the pants), but didn't really love. If you're the kind of person who loves the matching sets and culottes, this was made for you.
Is this even a real Halle OOTD post if I'm not wearing my adidas? The adidas lend a more casual vibe to these culottes, but I've also tried them with my lace up flats from Tuesday's post, and they look amazing.
Since I wanted the pants to be the main focus of the outfit, I wore a simple black cropped camisole. (Photo of my tattoos just for my mom. As always.) I've also paired the pants with my Topshop bodysuit, also in Tuesday's post, and the flats for a dressy look. It's perfect for date night... if Adam would take me on a date...
My only accessory was my favorite (sold out) choker from Target, but you can find a similar one here.
Now, here's a lot of photos of me because I got to shoot with an amazing photographer, co-worker and friend, Stella.
