Like I said last week, awards season has begun. Last night brought us the blue carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards, what some people see as a good predictor for the Oscars next month. While the winners are predictable, the red carpet fashion is not. Here are my top five from last night's event.
Constance Wu in Rodarte
Olivia Munn in Andrew Gn
Elizabeth Olsen in Alexandre Vauthier
Linda Cardellini in Zuhair Murad
Gemma Chan in Jason Wu

One of the craziest fashion red carpets of the year, the VMAs happened this past Sunday and included a slew of interesting fashion choices. While a lot of them were admirable, these are my top 5 from the event.
Jennifer Lopez in Versace
J.Lo slays again on the red carpet in Versace. The recipient of this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, she did it in perfect style.
Amandla Stenberg in Prada
Amandla definitely stayed away from the crazier fashion statements that the VMAs are known for. I love this pared back Prada look that is perfect inspo for the upcoming fall season.
Chloe and Halle Bailey in Iris Van Herpen
The sister duo Chloe x Halle rocked coordinating looks that represent a classy version of the 2018 naked dress.
Millie Bobby Brown in Rosie Assoulin
The Stranger Things star never fails to impress on the red carpet. This look left me wondering where I can get my own jumpsuit like this to wear once I have my pre-baby body back again.
Cardi B in Nicolas Jebran
All I can say is that this is a glorious return for new mom Cardi B. While she didn't perform, she accepted her award for Best New Artist with as much grace as I'm sure I would (see below).
Thanks for tagging me in that tweet, Lexi. I feel seen.
