In case you haven't checked your mobile calendars today, it's March 13th. These photos were taken on February 28th. Even though they were taken almost two weeks ago, I thought I would share my last day of February look because it's a pretty basic outfit formula that you can build of off for almost any occasion.
WOW I'M SMILING. This is a super rare sight.
Anyways, I started off this outfit with the Lace Cami from the Who What Wear collection at Target (similar here) and a pair of leggings from Girlfriend Collective. If you haven't heard of this brand yet, I recommend that you check it out and prepare for their upcoming launch this spring. I would happily pay $70 for these leggings even though I'm supposed to be saving every penny for NYC. The tank top could easily be switched out with a plain white T-shirt if you're looking to be even more basic with your base layers. With a base like this, it's super easy to build off of and add your own flair to. Just accessorize as you wish.
For my first accessory, I added this vintage Levi's denim jacket that I picked up at a Notting Hill street market when I was in London.
I finished off this look with some over-the-knee boots from Steve Madden (similar here). Why are these not black, you ask? Well, when I went to purchase these from Nordstrom.com, they were sold out of my size in black. But I was desperate for these boots so I bought them in taupe. Still wish I had them in black.
You may have noticed that my hair is no longer as dark as my soul. I recently lightened it and will lighten it one more time before it's at my desired level of blonde. Balayage is bae right now.
In terms of makeup, I did my normal routine. I was feeling fancy af today so I added a brown winged liner and also tested out my Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy that I received in my PLAY! by Sephora box.
I hope you enjoyed this v late blog post. See ya next time.
