Valentine's Day is only one short week away so it's time to start thinking about what to wear on the special night. Whether you're relaxing at home and eating pizza (Adam and I's V-Day tradition) or going out to see Fifty Shades Darker, I have a look for you.
Look #1: Netflix and Chill
This first look is for those of you choosing to spend your Valentine's Day at home. I kept it relaxed with this basic black turtleneck from Brandy Melville ($32) and some jeans.
What made these Topshop mom jeans ($110) special was the floral embroidery on the side. It adds such a feminine and romantic detail to a typically basic and masculine item.
Shoes not required if you're staying in, but I paired this look with a pair of Steve Madden Magan Tasseled Mules ($89.95) to walk the streets of Chicago. I recommend going up by a half size in this pair as they do run a little small.

Look #2: Feminine Night Out
I'll just go ahead and say it: this look definitely isn't for me. It doesn't contain a stitch of black which just isn't my style, but I wanted to share a more feminine option if you're planning to go out to dinner with your sigoth.
I created this look by layer this Forever 21 Contemporary Mesh Maxi Dress ($34.90) over a mauve maxi dress ($15), also from Forever 21.
I paired this look with taupe Call It Spring booties (similar, $69.99), but I think it would look much cuter with some lace-up sandals in a similar color.

Look #3: One Shade of Black
This is my favorite look out of the three for obvious reasons (*cough cough* all-black *cough cough*). A jumpsuit (similar, $68.60) this daring is definitely for a night OUT. What I love most is the fact that it is a jumpsuit and not the traditional dress. You'll definitely stand out from the date night crowd wearing this.
For shoes, I chose this pair of cobalt pumps from Who What Wear ($37.99). Please don't mind the dust. The L-train platforms are v dirty.
The top was definitely my favorite part of this jumpsuit. It's just perfect. I finished off my look with a red lip from ColourPop Cosmetics ($5) for a traditional V-Day look.
