Damn Halle, back at it again with the lip swatches/review. Today, we're switching from lipstick to lip gloss and checking out the Anastasia Beverly Hills glosses. So let's jump into some swatches and then a short review will follow.
Undressed - Café au lait
This is a great nude gloss that would be perfect over a nude lipstick. I personally think this is a little too light for my taste, but it's still a great basic color for your gloss collection.
Dainty - Soft peach
Love this color. The name is really fitting because it's the perfect ladylike gloss.
Peony - Chic baby pink
Perfect spring color. I can see this being a regular in my spring makeup collection this year.
Vintage - Victorian rose
I really love this shade. It's the perfect "nude" gloss in my opinion because you know I love my darker colors.
Metallic Rose - Shimmery dusty rose
Another favorite of mine. I love layering this gloss over liquid lipsticks for a touch of shimmer.
Maui - Soft coral
I don't think this is really a "soft" coral, but I think this color is great for the summer.
Gilded - Sparkly antique gold
Hands down, this is my favorite shade of the glosses I own. It's just so majestic.
So ABH Lip Gloss? Worth it? This is a pricey gloss, $16 each, and I think they're decent. While they're very pigmented, they're also very thick and sticky which I don't really care for. I know it's hard to find a non-sticky gloss, but these are extra sticky. On the plus side, they smell like vanilla cake. They also come in over 30 shades which is great because there's basically a color for everyone. Overall, these aren't my favorite lip glosses (I like Marc Jacobs the best), but they're still a good gloss if you're willing to spend a pretty penny.
Have a glossy Tuesday!
