So it's been four months since I last posted on my blog. Admittedly, I hated the platform I was using and was overall uninspired by it. I decided to switch from Google's Blogger to Weebly, so after two days of moving over all my old content, I'm excited to dive into this new platform and bring you more new content!
And we're going to start with that more content right now! Yesterday, Adam and I went to the Chicago Premium Outlets mall in Aurora and I decided to look like a decent human for one of the first times all summer. I thought it deserved to be documented.
I wore some of my favorite pieces of summer for my favorite summer outfit. I started off with an off-the-shoulder bodysuit from Topshop in black, (duh) and threw my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans over top (similar here.)
These flats are my new obsession. They are the Aldo Afaocien Flat and I purchased them at DSW last month.
My only accessory was my rose gold Michael Kors watch (similar here.)
Now about this giant hair... First of all, it hasn't been washed for five days. I made sure it looked fresh by spraying in a copious amount of my favorite dry shampoo. For some extra volume and texture, I added in some Texturizing Hair Spray from Ouai. I just bought a mini version to try out, but I'm liking it so far, so I may purchase the full bottle when I run out.
I went for a rose gold look today with my makeup. I started off by patting Weenie Super Shock Shadow from ColourPop Cosmetics all over my lid and lining my waterline with Get Paid Crème Gel Liner, also from ColourPop Cosmetics. For cheeks, I used Rose Spritz Luminous Blush from the BECCA Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette and highlighted my cheekbones with Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed from BECCA Cosmetics. On my lips, I used Kylie Cosmetics' Metal Matte in Heir.
I hope you enjoy my new and improved blog! Stay tuned from some great content I have planned and for my trip across the pond next month!
